Erasmus+ is the European Union’s Programme that supports education, training, youth and sport in Europe.
Within the youth sector, its objective is to promote non-formal and informal learning mobility and active participation among young people, as well as cooperation, quality, inclusion, creativity and innovation at the level of organizations and policies in the field of youth.
Youth Exchanges (YEs) aim to engage and empower young people to become active citizens, to connect them to the European project and to help them acquire and develop competences for life and their professional future.
If you are between 13 and 30 years old you are eligible to participate. Each project might have more narrow age-frame, described in the infopack.
Group leaders must be at least 18 years old, without upper age limit.
Participants must be from or living in a country part of the specific project.
Youth Exchanges (YE) are short-term mobilities lasting between 5 to 21 days (typically around 7-10 days).
Accommodation, meals, and training materials are fully covered by the Programme.
Travel expenses are reimbursed up to a predefined limit, based on the distance.
