Addressing Challenges in Europe

Between 3rd and 8th of December 2024 the Youth Exchange ACE (Addressing Challenges in Europe) took place in Athens, Greece.

With the objective to encourage young participants to engage and learn to participate in civic society in Europe, the project gathered youngsters from 6 different countries. IMEPO (The Hellenic Immigration Policy Institute) in its role as a coordinating organization partnered with

  • The National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucuresti – Romania
  • Anima Scenica APS, a theater youth organization of contemporary artistic anthropology, Italy
  • WOLF – wide-reaching opportunities for learning and fulfillment, Bulgaria
  • EKTA, Youth for Future Europe, France
  • More Horizons Now, Spain.
Bulgaria was represented by 3 participants.

Check out what they are saying about their experience:

“The project ‘ACE – Addressing Challenges in Europe’ was an inspiring and useful experience. Its topics covered key challenges that united Europe is facing – environmental sustainability, integration and diversity, as well as digital skills and understanding of modern disciplines such as science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Participating in discussions and workshops on civic life and democratic values gave me a new perspective and ideas for active participation in society.
The most valuable thing, however, was the opportunity to create new friendships with young people from different countries. We communicated freely, shared experiences and cultural differences, which brought us together immensely. These connections not only enriched the experience, but also made me realize how connected we are, regardless of borders. This exchange was a real lesson in cooperation, tolerance and understanding”

“The Erasmus+ project in Athens was very special for me because it helped me to broaden my horizons significantly, as I met young, ambitious, knowledgeable and willing people who showed me how many areas of development the world offers to a young person – something that I otherwise did not realize in my hectic everyday life. In addition to everything else, I had the opportunity to explore Athens and now I can safely say that its historical landmarks are foreign to any time and space, and the life and people in the city are unique”

“Participating in the Erasmus+ project was an extremely inspiring and enriching experience for me. Thanks to the program, I had the chance to gain valuable knowledge and skills, as well as to make new friendships with people from different countries.

I am very glad that I had the opportunity to participate in this project. It was an unforgettable experience that helped me overcome my own limits and taught me many new things.”
