Arte senza confini (Art without borders) is a youth exchange under Erasmus+ program that was held between September 25th and October 3rd. Young people from six different countries (Italy, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, N.Macedonia and Spain) gathered together in Filadelfia, Calabria in Italy to explore how art can be used as an inclusion tool.
Objectives:
The project, which was coordinated by Arte Diem Calabria had the following objectives:
– Empower young people, especially those from vulnerable backgrounds, through art as a tool for inclusion and personal/professional development.
– Promote digital skills (e.g. photography, video editing, content creation) and soft skills to enhance employability.
– Foster intercultural dialogue, creativity, and community engagement through artistic expression.
WOLF, as a partner in the project, gave the opportunity to 6 participants from Bulgaria to be join this adventure.

The whole Erasmus+ project was filled with a lot of exciting experiences and emotions. I met a lot of new people, a lot of new cultures, had the opportunity to glimpse into different perspectives. We did many different art projects, like “The river of life”, creating characters with drawing on masks or on our faces and making videography, working as a team. This project helped a lot of us to better work in a team, improving our communicative skills and openness to new ideas. Over all I am really grateful for this opportunity and plan on keeping in touch with many of the participants in the project as I made valuable friendships there.

One of the highlights of our stay in Filadelfia was facing different challenges together — from creative tasks to interacting with the locals as part of a mixed team.
