Between 16th and 24th of May the Erasmus+ youth exchange Elec-trick+ took place in Weicherdange, Luxembourg. Coordinated and hosted by Coconutwork, the project had the following objectives:
- Assess current forms, strategies and practices of advocacy, as well as their realities and ecosystems at EU and national levels.
- Highlight how young people can influence national and European decision-making processes.
- Improve young people’s digital skills by exploring innovative online participation tools and practices.
- Encourage young people to create and defend advocacy techniques, drawing on case studies of existing campaigns.
- Stimulate critical thinking, by developing the ability to analyse online information
Bulgaria was represented by 5 great individuals that actively participated and contributed to the project.
Here’s what Anton shares about his experience:
“For me Elec-trick+ was an unforgettable experience that pushed me out of my comfort zone. I never imagined that one day I would give a speech in front of dozens of people at the European Parliament in Luxembourg. Experiences like this can’t be bought…”
